My family started a yearly tradition at Sunset when I was a child. After many adult years not continuing the tradition, I began taking my own family back as of 3years ago to start our own. Very thankful we did! The ownership has changed hands many times since I was a child, but the experience has remained wonderful. Very reasonably priced, especially for what you get with your stay!! Quaint cabins of various sizes (all with outdoor covered seating areas), a pool with ample seating around, numerous outdoor gaming options, an indoor arcade, put-put golf course, ice and snacks available to purchase for a very decent price and best of all a beyond ample amount of outdoor seating and grills for large family gathering, cook outs or to sit around a warm fire (free firewood) and roast marshmallows! Each owner has been extremely accomodating and friendly.
Just left Sunset point after a great weekend. We asked the owners about the issue that the guest that was in a cast had. They said that guest did not tell them of any issues so they were unaware, otherwise they would have tried to accomodate. The rooms are immaculate and very cozy. I would recommend a visit here to anyone.
Very nice, clean cabins. Cabin in different sizes for your family or group. Owners are very helpful and keep the place/ cabins well decorated. Has nice pool and mini golf for family fun as well.
Very clean, great water pressure, nice layout too. But the TV it small and put on a wall shelf up by the ceiling so watching it strained our necks. But we still recommend staying here, great place to come to!

I love this resort. I go here with my family for vacation every summer. The staff are helpful and friendly. The cabins are nice and clean. The recreation center is a great place to go to at Sunset Point. There's a pool table and arcade games. The resort also has mini golf, which is pretty cool. The pool is probably the best thing in my opinion. It's always very clean with little to no debris. The temperature is perfect. The pool is open to anyone there and is open until 10 P.M., which is great for swimming at night. Overall, the place is awesome, and I will definitely be coming back.
I recommend anyone with or without a family come check this place out. It’s awesome. There is so much to do. GREAT GREAT GREAT place to stay!!!!!
We have been coming here for years, love the new owners!! The resort is darling, the cabins spotless, and the owners are very charming. The cabin rates are very affordable, we love it here.
Never know what kind of entertainment they'll have. Always a great time and very accommodating. Hope it never changes!
Very friendly. Very very helpful. Easy to communicate with and set up dates for reservations. Went above and beyond to help. My Dad is disabled. They were helpful and understanding of his needs. Also, my son dropped his phone outside, and the owner found it and took it inside to save it from damage. Full furnished. We will be back!
